Our Services

At OBHC, we believe in helping individuals and their families. We believe all individuals that are willing to receive mental health treatment should receive mental health treatment.

  • Clinical comprehensive assessments individuals are collecting information and drawing conclusions through the observation, psychological tests, neurological tests, and interviews to determine the person’s problem and the presenting symptoms. This collection of information involves learning about the client’s skills, abilities, personality characteristics, cognitive and emotional functioning, the social context in terms of environmental stressors that are faced, and cultural factors particular to them such as their language or ethnicity.

  • Outpatient Therapy is based on clinical need and is available to children, adolescents, and adults for whom it is determined therapy may be an effective means to reduce symptoms or eliminate impairment. Individual, family, and group therapies are available and ongoing individual sessions are offered either at the Ocean Behavioral Healthcare office, he individual’s home and/or virtually.

  • A targeted case manager helps connect the client (and their family) to these services by working with the client and their therapist to develop an individualized care plan. The case manager also monitors progress and collaborates with other community providers to help each client achieve their personalized care plan goals. TCM’s strive to help clients access all the services needed the goals outlined in their care plans. Based on your specific needs, this may include: Acting as a school liaison, such as joining you for Individualized Education Program meetings and safety meetings, connecting you to community resources that can assist with food, clothing, and shelter needs, supporting your search for employment, including assistance with building a resume, completing applications, and preparing for job interviews, helping with transportation needs, helping to find and keep housing, making referrals for needed medical, dental, and psychiatric services and crisis planning.

  • Peer support services is a community-based, recovery-oriented service for adults with identified mental health and/or substance abuse issues. PSS differs from other services that individuals in need are paired with peers who have lived experience, trained, and certified individuals who are stable in recovery from their own mental health or substance abuse issues, and who can listen, provide guidance, and instill hope for recovery based on their own personal experiences. Peer support allows those seeking recovery the opportunity to learn directly from those who have been, and continue, walk that same path.
